Therabody is seeking a skilled Senior Localization Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planning and day-to-day operations of global localization projects from beginning to end for copywriting and promotional materials for existing and new products for the global markets by ensuring accurate and authentic translation of materials into local language(s).
Obtain English language final marketing materials from the marketing team.
Identify the right translation process ranging from AI machine translation to fully human driven trans-creation process. Manage effective localization of translations to ensure authenticity of the materials for different foreign language markets by adapting translations to specific foreign countries.
Work with third party vendors and local language members to obtain approval of the translation materials. Ensure that the translations of promotional materials are accurate and consistent throughout translations and revisions and across different platforms.
Work closely with the Global Sales, Distributor, Content Marketing and Brand teams to evaluate needs and proactively establish project timelines, workflows, and successful completion of localization projects to ensure proper translation of marketing and copywriting materials in a timely manner.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Design, Video Production, Marketing, Product Development & Education teams to coordinate and manage all ongoing and upcoming translation and localization needs and timeline.
Prioritize, scope and deliver translation and localization projects through coordination with internal teams and external partners or agencies.
Manage and update internal localization trackers and communication flows to ensure all teams involved are updated and well-informed of the status of ongoing projects.
Onboard new processes, tools and workflows to improve workflow efficiency and efficacy for the localization/translation projects.
Leverage technology and process innovation to bring continuous improvement to the localization operation (scalability, efficiency, scope, etc.).
Collaborating and optimizing localization/translation efforts across departments and functions both internally and with external partners or agencies. Finding and solving problems, proposing solutions, and prioritizing as well as thinking critically to find new areas of improvement for all localization projects.
Coordinating internal and external resources and facilitating effective communication for on-time delivery of localization projects.
The Right Person Would Have:
This position requires a master’s degree in localization, translation, translation and localization management or related field.
Alternatively, bachelor’s degree in translation, interpretation, localization, or related field and 5 years of experience.
