<span style="color:#000000"><b><u>Legends Global Destination El Paso</u></b>, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has excellent and immediate openings for a Seasonal Event Manager to work El Paso’s outdoor ice rink and festival at Convention Center Plaza in downtown from November 2025 to January 2026.

The Rink Manager will be responsible for: Overseeing Operations for the following:</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Managing full ice rink staff</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Skate Pass Sales</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Skate Rentals</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Ice Rink Operations</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Greeting Patrons and handling customer issues</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Special Feature Operations</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">- Daily set up and clean up</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES</u></b></span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Exceptional customer service REQUIRED</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Oversee the operation of the rink area</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Manage opening and closing procedures for The Rink</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Assign staff to their shift positions and monitor performance</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Ensure safety protocols are followed</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Coordinate with Leads and other staff</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Troubleshoot customer issues and manage escalations</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Report daily rink attendance numbers</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Computer savvy, familiar with Microsoft Outlook</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Time-keeping of Seasonal Staff</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Managing customer service of staff on shift</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Must ensure and maintain a clean and organized area for patrons</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Manage supply inventory</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Duties include ticket sales, skate rentals, Greeting, Ice Rink & Special Features Operations and daily set up and clean up</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Answer and appropriately respond to customer needs</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Communicate with internal departments to address critical needs</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Perform other duties as assigned</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>WORKING CONDITIONS</u></b></span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Outdoor venue – in possible cold and hot conditions</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Uniform(s) provided upon hire</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></b></span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">Prefer candidates that are FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL and have previous retail, food service, or other customer service positions.</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Must be available to work 20 – 40 hours a week between November 1, 2026, and January 17, 2027</span><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">· Must work nights, weekends, and holidays</span><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>NOTE:</u></b> The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
