The Writing and Dialogue Production team at Rockstar is seeking an ambitious Production Coordinator who is meticulous in their work, passionate about supporting creative teams, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s office in Los Angeles.

WHAT WE DO

  • The Writing team works closely with various departments across studios in developing narratives, characters, dialogue, in-game media, world building interactions, and world-building discoveries.
  • We work to push the limits of creating compelling and unique experiences that resonate with a global audience.
  • We collaborate across departments to coordinate dialogue requirements for our games.
  • We help to ensure that dialogue is written and recorded to project deadlines and that dialogue and related animations are implemented and tested to the highest standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the writing workflow for ambient pedestrian dialogue from script up to recording.
  • Manage high volume of scripts and multiple pipelines simultaneously.
  • Work with the Casting team to ensure character and bio requirements meet Writers’ vision.
  • Rigorously maintain accurate trackers and documentation for scripts, characters, and audio.
  • Communicate pro-actively with stakeholders and ensure all are aligned on next steps and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to produce high-quality scripts and ensure seamless recording.
  • Ensure meetings are properly documented and actioned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.

SKILLS

  • Self-motivated, conscientious individual who can work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization.  
  • Ability to prioritize and tackle and high volume of assets under tight deadlines.
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment but also confident working independently.

  • Experience working with scripts in film/TV or games.

The pay range for this position in Los Angeles at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
