We are seeking a well-adapted, multi-disciplinary Brand Designer for a full-time position. The ideal candidate has strong visual design skills, is highly collaborative, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. A curious mind ready to push boundaries coupled with a proactive drive will go a long way at Strava.

This is a pivotal role on the Brand Design team. You will spend a majority of your time designing consistent visual elements that reflect Strava’s brand and are used across all internal/external communication platforms. A highly organized individual with structured files is essential to the workflow.

One focus area for this role will be to partner with our brand designers and various business units and craft important documents using our brand templates and documentation of our design standards. This role is suited for someone who has a passion for design craft and understands the importance of creating consistency and ensuring accessibility. This is how you will elevate the Strava athlete experience and enable people to reach their goals and achieve their person best.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Work collaboratively with internal team members to develop crucial Brand documents that service the organization
  • You will spend a lot of your time designing Decks, Word Templates, using creative direction from the Global Brand team
  • Internal Communications: Design consistent visual elements that reflect Strava’s brand and are used across all internal communication platforms
  • Create Engaging Content: Design visually appealing and engaging content for internal announcements, updates, and presentations to ensure high levels of employee engagement and information retention.
  • Support HR and Internal Events: Design materials for HR for recruitment, onboarding, training programs, and internal events. This includes creating visual aids for employee development workshops, company-wide meetings, or annual gatherings.
  • Monitor and Gather Feedback: Regularly collect and analyze employee feedback on the effectiveness of the communication designs and strategies, using surveys or feedback tools embedded in the internal platforms.
  • Maintain Strava’s design system and standards across product and marketing to ensure visual brand excellence.

You will be successful here by:

  • Experience in presentation design, decks, and or portfolios
  • Flexible, dependable, and highly organized, with exceptional communication and decision-making skills.
  • Passionate about Strava's mission and purpose, with empathy for both the customer and individuals on the creative team.
  • Love to design

  • You have 3+ years of brand/visual/product/communications design experience.
  • You love developing standards and design systems that create huge impact through simple solutions.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Craft, typography, composition, imagery, iconography and color is your language.
  • You have enthusiasm for taking on new opportunities.
  • You have the ability to be self directed, project manage their own work flow.
  • You have experience working quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience using Figma, photoshop, Google slides, and keynote.
  • You are proficient with Photoshop, and Illustrator - animation tools a bonus.
