We’re continuing down the path of high growth and high impact, and this role is a key member of the Sales Enablement Team making that happen.

Reporting to the Manager of Sales & Broker Enablement, The Broker Enablement Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute sales initiatives through our Broker Partners that align with company goals as they evolve. In close concert with Sales Leadership, Marketing and RevOps, they will empower our Broker Partners to evangelize HealthJoy’s message and to sell our suite of products. With ongoing support and coaching from their manager, this includes:

Your impact. 

  • Manage an end-to-end data-driven Broker Enablement Program in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Generation; develop training (product knowledge, differentiation, objection handling, etc), content, and processes that result in signed broker partnerships and broker evangelists for the HealthJoy brand
  • Help standardize, maintain and track the effectiveness of Broker Partner marketing
  • Establish co-commitments for ongoing relationship building at a larger brokerage level by co-authoring, launching and reinforcing our new Broker Partnership Playbook for Sales 
  • Maintain client-facing content on behalf of broker partners including webinars, roundtables, office hours, lunch & learns, etc.
  • Establish a close working relationship with the Sales Enablement Specialist and Sr. Content Specialist to ensure collaboration and a coordinated approach (the left hand knows what the right hand is doing).
  • Implement change management programs that incorporate past Broker Sales performance and prescribe new programs that address former gaps in process in order to produce improved results
  • Manage time-sensitive RFIs and vendor assessments on behalf of the Broker in an effort to position HealthJoy as the preferred Benefits Navigation Solution.
  • Maintain popular Broker Channels such as BenefitPitch and Shortlister and identify similar platforms that will extend our Broker reach and awareness.
  • Utilize technologies such as Highspot, Loopio, and Outreach in order to scale Enablement programs for brokers
  • Assess the success of the Broker Enablement Program by identifying, measuring, and tracking behavioral, leading, and lagging indicators
  • Provide Broker Partners with training that incorporates adult learning theory and multiple learning formats for successful outcomes
  • Contribute to a “think-tank” and inventive culture within the larger GTM Team

About You.

  • 2-4 years of experience in the broker benefits industry, preferably in sales, marketing, or enablement
  • You’re motivated by building and helping mature the Enablement function with manager’s direction and protecting its reputation as a strategic partner to the organization
  • You can effectively problem-solve and apply analytical thinking
  • Metrics are important to you. As a key stakeholder, you recognize the importance of measuring success and sharing it regularly with decision makers
  • You are enthusiastic about the use of data to tell stories and you possess a creative and equally scientific approach to Enablement
  • Motivated self-starter who can multitask and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proven experience confidently driving projects to completion
  • You take pride and joy in the work you own, and strive for quality at all stages of development, from initial drafts to completion
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and working independently
  • You wish to grow your career in Sales Enablement and enjoy mentorship, coaching and challenges from your manager to continuously develop
  • Experience in benefits consulting industry and in working with brokers, either in a sales-facing, enablement or comparable role such as sales ops, revops analyst, sales support, product marketing
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport within Sales and Broker stakeholders throughout the business
  • Strong communication skills

Total Rewards 

Job Level: 20 

Base Compensation Range for Job Level: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually 

The cash compensation above includes base salary only. Certain roles are eligible for additional cash incentives such as commission, annual bonus targets, overtime pay or other variable incentives.

HealthJoy maintains a comprehensive strategy to determine rewarding and competitive packages for individual compensation for new hires, internal promotions and internal job changes. This strategy is based on several factors unique to each individual, including: 1) the skills, experience and qualifications of the individual; 2) the responsibilities and demands of the role; 3) analysis of external market data; and 4) company budget and financial performance. 

HealthJoy is a remote-first employer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. 

At HealthJoy, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role and individual.
