Business Analytics Intern

PlayOn! Sports is looking for a Business Analytics Intern to join our B2B team. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making across various aspects of our business. Under the guidance of our experienced analytics team, you will work on a wide range of projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and maximizing revenue streams. This internship offers a unique chance to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute directly to the success of our company.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and data requirements.

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and trends.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.

• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.

• Assist in building a dashboard for Streaming Metrics that will support strategic decision making.

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Support ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects as needed.

 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Highly preferred knowledge in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for sports and a desire to learn and grow in the sports industry.
