About the Role

Charlie Health is looking to add a highly motivated, operationally savvy, and data-driven Business Operations Associate to its growing Operations team. The Business Operations Associate will use data analysis, problem-solving, project management, and a strategic mindset to assist in the ideation and execution of some of the company’s most important initiatives. The Business Operations Associate will have a key “seat at the table” with department heads and the Talent, People, and Growth leadership teams as processes are established and refined. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects driving the most important goals of the business, coordinating internal team members and resources
  • Perform analysis on talent and growth performance, generating insights that inform changes to business tactics, strategy, and process
  • Build and maintain dashboards, define and monitor KPIs, and lead weekly and monthly data reporting processes across the Talent team
  • Develop new policies and procedures to increase team efficiency and quality
  • Launch new channels for talent acquisition and use channel-level data to optimize cost-per-hire
  • Partner with the HR team to ensure new hire retention and performance monitoring
  • Procure, set up, and roll out new technologies that drive better team efficiency
  • Support the resource allocation of recruiting staff to ensure Charlie Health continues to meet its objectives
  • Assist in quarterly and annual strategic planning processes and KPI goal-setting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or similar analytical subject area
  • 3-4+ years of experience in a data-heavy work environment (e.g. finance, consulting, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, or cloud-based data warehouses preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across teams and levels within an organization
  • Exceptional organization, project management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Experience building out new policies and procedures to accelerate operational workflows
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week in our NYC office and located within 75 minutes commuting distance of the office

Additional Information

The total target cash compensation for this role will be between $108,000 and $143,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and number of years of experience. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
