Position Title: Content Operations Manager

Reporting To: Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations

Location: Newton, MA, Chapel Hill, NC, or New York, NY

Compensation: $85,000-$95,000, depending on qualifications

Position Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for managing Well’s content operations process end-to-end, from drafting to publishing. You will be accountable for delivering in accordance with Well’s monthly content production targets. You will also manage a team of associates who serve as specialists in key areas of the content operations process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the content production process across all involved cross functional stakeholders including research, writing, copy, peer review, image/illustrations, rewards, building/publishing, criteria assignment (surfacing logic), and retrospective review; includes coordination of the content production process for delivery of new product features (where applicable)
  • Lead and manage a team of associates to accomplish these responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Well’s content production calendar, ensuring alignment with key business and client goals. Plan and streamline content interventions based on these priorities, helping inform design and estimating deliverable timelines
  • Update and maintain the weekly content operations report and content forecast model
  • Manage all aspects of building content into the Well platform, with internal publishing and criteria assignment tools
  • Drive strategy and collaboration with Data Science to execute criteria assignments, translating between the content and a machine-readable language usable by our proprietary AI Health Engine
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, clinical compliance, legal compliance, and adherence to the company's brand guidelines
  • Take personal responsibility for keeping all Well systems and data, including sensitive member and employee data, secure and safe, according to Well data and security policies as well as HIPAA guidelines and employer best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recommended 5-7 years' experience in healthcare operations, content operations, or a related field
  • At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Background/interest in logical reasoning and relational data and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Organizational and project management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adept at building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with ICD-10, NDC, CPT codes and SQL language preferred
