OVERVIEW

The Director of Digital Strategy will play a critical role in our digital division, directly supporting and reporting to our Chief Technology and Digital Officer. This position requires a strategic thinker who possesses a blend of digital expertise and strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital strategy within the retail or e-commerce sector, acting as a pivotal force behind digital growth and customer experience enhancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the right-hand to the Chief Technology and Digital Officer and Digital GM, providing strategic insights and operational support.
Lead the development and execution of strategic digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with Alo’s overall business goals.
Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless integration and effective execution of digital strategies.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and digital performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the digital landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a prestigious institution, with a solid foundation in business strategy and analytics.
At least 10 years of professional experience, preferably with a background in top strategy consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey, BCG).
Demonstrated expertise in retail, e-commerce, tech, or consumer goods, focusing on strategic planning, problem-solving, and executive communication.
Exceptional ability in strategic planning and alignment of digital initiatives with company goals.
Very strong skills in quantitative analysis and familiarity with data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python).
Outstanding ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, with proficiency in presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote).
Demonstrated success in leading and completing digital projects, collaborating effectively across different business units, and guiding and/or motivating teams without direct authority.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and ever evolving environment.
Passion for fashion, yoga, and an active lifestyle is plus

The base salary range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
