About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join us as the Director of People Operations. This role will report to the Chief People Officer and be instrumental in optimizing people operations and shaping the overall employee experience. 

As the Director of People Operations, you will lead a dynamic team focused on onboarding, total rewards, HR systems and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our people operations to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs, to attract and retain top talent.
  • Strategic HR Projects: Lead and contribute to strategic HR projects aimed at enhancing processes, policies, and overall employee experience.
  • HR Systems Leadership: Oversee the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of HR systems, including HRIS and related tools.
  • HR Compliance: Stay current on employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring all HR practices adhere to legal standards.
  • Onboarding: Design and oversee the implementation of a robust onboarding program that aligns with the company's values and supports new employees in their integration to Charlie Health.
  • Leadership: Provide mentorship, coaching and development as the leader of a growing team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within People Operations, with a focus on total rewards, systems and onboarding.
  • Track record of successfully optimizing HR processes, implementing scalable solutions, and driving efficiency improvements within a fast-paced and growing organization
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits design and administration.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Additional Information

The total target cash compensation for this role will be between $170,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and number of years of experience. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
