THE POSITION

The Fraud and Risk Senior Associate is responsible for analyzing and monitoring advanced daily reporting to identify any fraudulent or suspicious behavior across the FanDuel Group brands.

Fraud and Risk Senior Associates play a key role in assisting our organization with prevention and response across the platform. This role requires an intermediate to advanced understanding of existing and emerging fraud risks within Daily Fantasy Sports, online gaming or related industries.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

Conduct daily reviews of advanced reporting and algorithms to detect, prevent, and mitigate potential Fraud activities or suspicious behavior
Perform advanced account due diligence and take necessary actions (change user status, refund, credit etc.) to mitigate loss
Create or utilize existing SQL queries to pull and analyze data for recommendations on existing or emerging trends
Monitor the team's data pipeline for operational efficiency
Compose detailed chargeback representment documents to fight disputes
Conduct monthly Fraud KPI reporting by pulling and preparing data to help improve operational performance and meet team prevention goals
Assist the team with customer Fraud inbound and outbound contacts during peak times

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

A minimum of 1 year of fraud experience in Daily Fantasy Sports or related online gaming, sports betting/e-commerce fields preferred
Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred
Must be able to obtain required licenses as mandated by various state gaming and racing regulatory bodies
Intermediate to advanced understanding of online gaming fraud schemes and categories as well as common fraud prevention strategies and systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical ability; SQL experience preferred
Demonstrated understanding of the chargeback workflow
Proven experience with help desk software (ZenDesk, Oracle etc.) and payment processors (Braintree, PayPal etc.) preferred
Willing and able to work flexible hours that include nights and weekends
Passion for sports and/or gaming industry is a plus
