The Role

This role will form part of a new Shared Services function to ensure all staff, players and talent have the correct eligibility, documentation and information to enter new and existing countries within the BLAST portfolio.

As part of a small operations team, you will be working in collaboration with our legal and live events departments, and liaise with immigration specialists to complete the application process for up to 400 people per event.

You will be a team player but able to work independently under your own initiative, drawing from your previous experience in a similar role. As a new role, it is an opportunity to take ownership and introduce your own processes and systems, in line with BLAST objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Research and work with local counsel to understand country entry requirements for BLAST players, staff and talent
  • Liaise with local counsel to process applications and draft invitation letters 
  • Lead regular meetings with local counsel
  • Provide support to staff and talent and lead town hall meetings
  • Lead the internal process of gathering/vetting data and compiling individual applications ready for submission
  • Regularly update budgets
  • Maintain accurate records of employee data such as work permit expirations
  • Create individual “travel toolkits” in collaboration with the Travel Team
  • Assisting the wider Operations Team with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Danish
  • Understanding of Danish employment law
  • Experience in a similar global mobility role
  • Proficiency working with Google applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet software (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently, balancing multiple tasks at once
  • Organised, thorough and an excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to travel to and work at events
