PlayOn! Sports is looking for a Head of InfoSec to play a crucial role in leading and managing all aspects of our organization's IT infrastructure and security protocols. This senior-level position requires a strategic thinker who can align IT and security initiatives with overall business objectives. The position will report to our Chief Financial Officer.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:

• Develop and execute the IT and security strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize technology and security initiatives.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure.

• Ensure the reliability and security of networks, systems, and applications.

• Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and systems.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential threats.

• Build and lead a high-performing IT and security team.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

• Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions.

• Stay current with industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Ensure the organization's IT and security practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement incident response plans to address and mitigate security incidents.

• Lead investigations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during security incidents.

 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing IT and security strategies.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and technologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
