ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is within our Asia Platforms & Digital Audience Measurement team, this sales group focuses on business development with our Digital native Platform clients across Social Media, Streaming, E-Commerce, Payments, Super Apps and other emerging areas.
The successful candidate will be a senior member of the Commercial sales team, focused on business development with our clients and driving revenue. Nielsen employees should support finding new clients and upselling to existing clients with a deep understanding of Nielsen's diverse data solutions. Your success in the role will be assessed primarily on the delivery of Revenue on Hand versus Quarterly Sales Targets through managing a Revenue pipeline and a strategic approach to selling.
Specifically, there will be designated Strategic Korean clients, where Nielsen is looking to build Strategic multi-year partnerships through engagement with the Client’s C-suite


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leader of Strategic account development - focused on developing larger multi-year partnerships with major Korean Digital clients.
  • Building new business and meeting key decision makers at potential clients to sell/upsell Nielsen solutions
  • Develop sales relationships to increase client size using Nielsen data solutions to provide additional insight and solutions
  • Revenue pipeline management - identify new revenue pipeline and drive the pipeline to conversion
  • Senior Client leadership - Propose and win projects for clients, managing the relationship through the project with a view to larger repeat business and long-term contracts.


  • QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Senior Sales experience and excellent client communication with C-Suite and Business Unit leaders are required.
  • Experience in working with major Korean businesses - TV Broadcasters, Large Electronics Manufactures in the Media segment, Media Retail Organisation, Media Agencies, Publishers and Advertisers
  • Digital Media, Marketing industry or Digital Device manufacturer related experience is a must
  • Research design and good data analytical skills are preferred
  • Experience leading large-scale projects with clients, including project planning and operations in collaboration with various departments is a plus.
  • Good communication in Korean & English (both written and verbal) required
  • Perfection in Microsoft and/ or Google Suite required
  • A bachelor’s degree or more required
