THE ROLE
PlayOn! Sports is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our B2B Marketing team, who can contribute fresh ideas, create content, and research industry trends. This internship will allow you the opportunity to learn the systems and processes essential to a successful marketing career by gaining exposure to content creation, social media, lead generation, CRM management, and success metrics. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to identify areas of interest and run an end-to-end campaign.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:
• Support marketing teams in planning, developing, and executing marketing initiatives.
• Write a 1500-word blog and support social media posts.
• Execute an email marketing campaign from inception to measurement.
• Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing.
• Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports.
• Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity.
• Contribute to market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
• Help organize and provide support for virtual and in-person events to promote the company’s brand.
• Develop an understanding of company products, services, and target audience to effectively communicate key messages.
• Gain proficiency in marketing tools and platforms used by the company.
THE PERSON
• Highly preferred Marketing major
• Highly preferred knowledge or experience writing blogs or social media posts
• Knowledge or interest in sports
• Knowledge of email marketing campaigns is a plus
