Roblox's Marketing and Communication teams focus on developing creative programs for a variety of audiences from developers and users to brand partners and technical talent to lead awareness, education, and adoption as we look to evolve and grow the platform.

Given all the exciting work that is being implemented, the Marketing and Communications (MarComms) organization is seeking a professional to join us as the Marketing Operations Lead in this newly created position, you will help work with the leadership of Roblox's MarComms team to oversee our strategic planning process and ensuring that we are implementing plans over the year.

This full-time position is based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid structure with 3 days onsite per week) and will report to VP, Marketing.

You will:

  • Oversee the strategic planning process of the Marcomms team and partner with leaders to ensure that teams are achieving the established OKRs.
  • Collaborate with DSA/Research teams and marketing leaders to guide the creation of a measurement system (e.g, metrics, tooling) and framework that will enable understanding of effectiveness of channels (e.g, web, social, podcast) and tracking of marketing initiatives (e.g, growth marketing, influencer, product marketing)impact/Return on investment.
  • Create summary reports that track results against our goals for leadership. Communicate insights to senior leadership and other team members to lead informed decision-making and improve/refine marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Lead all Marketing and Communications All Hands, End of Quarter, Quarterly Company Stand-Up, and Board presentation development.
  • Oversee our resourcing and budgeting process - working with the Finance and MarComms team leads to aligning resources and investment to needs/impact priorities.
  • Lead special projects.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related discipline)
  • 7+ years of proven experience in marketing operations
  • The ability to convey complex data-driven insights to diverse audiences.
  • Experience combining strategic, analytical thinking, with hands-on execution.
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners: Marketing Group Leads, Creative, Research, Analytics/DSA, Finance
  • Marketing or marketing operations experiences (required)
  • Management consulting experience (Bonus)
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$225,280$260,790 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
