PushPress is looking for a qualified Marketing Project Manager with experience in Social Media to join our team in a part-time contractor role.

You’ll be responsible for aiding in the project management, improvement and maintenance of PushPress’ social media channels to achieve department and business goals. Your duties will include scheduling content to our audiences in order to raise brand awareness, monitoring traffic and metrics related to our social channels, engaging with our audience, collaborating with other Marketing Program Managers to see social content processes through from start to completion, and assisting in the management of the PushPress Content Calendar.

Our ideal candidate has a background or similar experience in Project Management and Social Media with demonstrable skills. Previous experience as a fitness business owner or coach is preferred but not required. You should perform well under deadlines, thrive in a collaborative environment, be an excellent communicator and detail oriented for this contract position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Dedicate 15-20 hours per week to managing our Social Media campaigns.
  • Report to our Content Management team in a timely manner regarding daily functions as the Marketing Project Manager (Social Media) and carrying out our social media functions.
  • Meet project deadlines as needed for various tasks, projects and campaigns.
  • Open to learning about our overall content marketing efforts to help us provide the best possible social media content to our audiences and clients.
  • Collaborate with other members of our Marketing Team when needed to ensure content and processes are on target.
  • Using social media scheduling tools like Buffer, Later, or StoryChief and project management tools like Asana, Notion or Slack to execute your day to day tasks.
  • Overseeing the process from start to finish for creating thoughtful content that speaks to a fitness business owner audience which helps drive an increase in conversions.
  • Manage the distribution of our social media content across our channels according to the PushPress Content Calendar and Marketing Department needs.
  • Engage with our social media audience by interacting with their content, commenting on posts, and leveraging Instagram or Facebook stories.
  • Delegate tasks to other members of our team when needed.
  • Identify and recommend new social media ideas or areas of potential improvement.
  • Stay up to date on social media best practices or algorithm changes.
  • Create copy for social content where and if needed.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Social Media Manager, Project Manager or similar position.
  • Must be reliable and able to meet all deliverable deadlines.
  • Preference for those with a background as a fitness business owner or coaching experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding about various social media channels, social media best practices and channel optimizations or trends.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
