People Business Partner - 12 month FTC

Join us as a People Business Partner – 12 month FTC in our Solihull People Team to help translate the delivery of Gymshark’s business strategy by supporting the development and alignment of functional people plans to drive performance whilst ultimately protecting and maintaining the unique Gymshark culture and delivering a world class employee experience.

This is an amazing opportunity for a qualified HR professional who has experience within a startup / high growth creative environment and who is passionate about building trusted partnerships with the senior management team and becoming an extension to the allocated function - supporting on their medium to long term goals.

- This role is genuinely important to Gymshark and its performance, it not just limited to provision of expert advice and support to line managers on all HR / People related issues – you will be the Ambassadorship of culture: leading by example, demonstrating the Gymshark values, and setting the standard.

- We operate in a fast paced, agile working environment which creates opportunities for anyone who wants to enhance their skillset.

- You will have the support of our specialist people team functions (Talent Acquisition, Reward, Performance & Ops) to enable you to work efficiently and effectively in role.

- The hybrid working pattern features a minimum of three days a week at our global HQ in Solihull, UK.

 
And here’s what we are looking for from you:

• Full or Part CIPD qualified  
• Previous HR experience and ideally business partnering within marketing / brand / creative functions of a fast, high growth business.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge and awareness of global employment legislation and practices
• Experience in influencing senior management.
• Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Able to work autonomously, in a risk-taking, fast paced environment.
• Naturally curious, self-driven with a passion for understanding stakeholders and meeting their needs. 
• Agile to change and pragmatic.
• Commercial Awareness and a creative problem solver with the ability to think laterally and understand the cost and value drivers within a competitive business environment.
