Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

We are looking for an entry level Photo Editor to join our Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) team. You will primarily edit photos of coins for use within the company, for customers, and for the marketing department. 

You will report to the PCGS Image Processing Supervisor. 

What You’ll Do

• Work with a team of other individuals to produce high resolution Adobe Photoshop documents.
• Much of the work will involve quick editing using a template, but other photo editing skills will be required as well.
• Expand our photographic archives to better allow us to detect counterfeits and authenticate coins.
• Promptly deliver images to our customers who expect to have their photographs available as soon as their orders ship.

Who You Are

• Fast Learner and able to take direction
• You possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), with a college education preferred.
• You have training in graphic design.
• You are skilled with the MAC OS and have advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• You are able to apply common sense to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

Physical Demands

• Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
• Working on a computer for extended periods of time to edit, proof, and send photos internally and to customers.
• Possessing hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, e-mail correspondence, receiving ordinary information, and for preparing, inspecting and receiving submissions from clients.
• Work Environment/ Remote
• Activities include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer, sitting/standing for extended periods of time while editing photographs.

Hourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $17. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
