Part-time: 24 hours/weekly 

Weekly Hours: 10:00AM - 6:00PM 

Do you have a passion for gaming and the future of esports? Are you a creative individual wanting to contribute to the industry leader in esports content? theScore esports is the largest English-language esports media entity in the world. 

This is a part-time position that will give you an opportunity to work across our video production team, from short-form projects for social media platforms to long-form videos on YouTube. This is a production assistant role, with a focus on post production.

This role is a great opportunity for current students or recent grads to gain experience in the esports space!

Typical Work Day at theScore:

  • Assist in the production of our weekly video series, which includes clip collecting, pitching ideas for our YouTube and social media channels, creating graphics and other production roles as needed
  • Collaborating with different team members to ensure the production of high-quality work.
  • Keeping up with latest trends in storytelling, video production, social media and esports.
  • Assist in any other relevant tasks related to video content.
  • Other duties as required.

 Requirements:

  • Be an esports fan. Have a thirst for everything and anything esports related; especially for established games like Valorant, CS2 and League of Legends, with an eye to identify more nascent, emerging titles.
  • Experience with Non-Linear Editing Software (especially Premiere Pro) is a benefit.
  • Experience with After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, specifically YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to express yourself.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and within fast-paced environments
  • Able to work productively both individually and with team members
  • Knowledge of pop culture and internet trends is an asset
