As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating shoots, managing freelance bookings, and handling production paperwork. You will be the driving force behind the smooth operation of our projects, ensuring that everything is in place for successful productions.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a fixed-term contract until 31st May 2025 based our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

Working requirements: Weekend and evening work will be required!

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • To provide key production assistance and administrative support for the editorial and production management teams across Premier League Productions

  • Production administration: invoice and timesheet processing and cost-tracking

  • Compiling pre-production paperwork: call sheets, release and consent forms, safeguarding checks

  • Working alongside the producer and editor to complete post-production paperwork (scripts, stills lists, music cue sheets etc.) and uploading to post-production archive system

  • Assistance in setting up multi-camera shoots; including booking crew, voiceovers, camera kit, travel, accommodation, locations and creating call sheets. Occasionally you will be required to go onsite to ensure the smooth production of these shoots

  • Arranging travel and accommodation for staff/contributors and freelancers.

  • Being a point of contact for freelancers and suppliers

  • Booking and scheduling staff/freelancers; including loggers, editors, producers, and postproduction facilities

  • Booking equipment hire

  • Capturing data related to sustainable TV production (The Albert Certification process)

  • Assisting with autocue during live shows

  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job as directed by the Production Manager

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Previous administration experience

  • Experience of managing bookings and scheduling personnel

  • Previous experience in a people facing role dealing with queries

  • Appreciation for tv production processes (including pre, production and post-production)

We’d Love If You Also Have These:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (when to employ tact, diplomacy, discretion)

  • Uses own initiative and ability to work well as part of a team and on own without close supervision.

  • Previous experience of working to tight deadlines, working effectively under pressure

  • Production Health & Safety training course

  • Interest in sport
