Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

As the Project Manager at Collectors, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a wide array of initiatives spanning Operations, HR, M&A, Corporate Development, and more. With 3-4 years of experience in project management, your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they are completed within the defined scope, budget, and timelines. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will serve as the primary point of contact for core cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Director of Project Management and will be a key player in shaping the project management landscape within the organization.The ideal candidate will be local to either our Santa Ana, CA or Jersey City, NJ headquarters but remote candidates who can travel will be considered. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects by defining and managing scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets while adhering to industry best practices. This includes identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project communication channels, meetings, documentation, and status updates across various levels, including teams, stakeholders, and executive management. This involves facilitating effective communication to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and continually improve project processes based on industry best practices. This includes evaluating project performance metrics and implementing process enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary liaison for core cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success. This involves building strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless project execution and achieve project objectives.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating a strong understanding of business operations and project management principles.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Project Management or related roles, preferably in an enterprise setting, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects using familiar PMI methodologies such as waterfall and hybrid agile approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences including team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in project documentation, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Proven ability and willingness to travel regularly to various sites across the United States and internationally, including operational environments, for extended periods as needed to support project initiatives.

Salary Range: 

The salary range for this position is $86,000-$120,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
