THE POSITION

FanDuel Group is looking to add a Senior Associate to its Regulatory team to assist with Regulatory Management. The Regulatory Management team is responsible for maintaining and advising on laws, statutes, and rules relevant to FanDuel. The Senior Associate will need to understand the role of governance and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment as well as be experienced in reading and interpreting statutes and regulations. The Senior Associate will be responsible for researching and accurately streamlining all relevant laws, statutes, and regulations, and maintaining the program during critical change management events. Those events will include, but are not limited to, new regulations, changes in existing regulations, communication and updates from regulators, and changes to FanDuel products.

THE GAME PLAN

This position will work with a fantastic team of Compliance, Regulatory, and Legal professionals to work on the Regulation Management framework. This role will:

Play an integral role in expanding the Regulation Management initiative by aligning all relevant laws, statutes, and regulations to FanDuel requirements.
Enhance the Change Management process to monitor all relevant agencies and regulators for updates to laws and regulations.
Develop a deep expertise of statutes and regulations across the industry and provide guidance as needed.
Identify and address regulatory trends that may impact stakeholders including business operations, procedures, controls, and processes across FanDuel.
Advise FanDuel stakeholders across all departments and products of regulatory requirements.
Develop efficient processes, templates, and resources to help the team work smarter, faster, and more effectively.
Document relevant policies and procedures as needed along with presentations to senior management.
Assist with implementing and advising on new or enhanced features to the risk management tool and provide support where needed.
Assist in managing users, profiles, permission sets, roles, and alerts in the risk management tool.
Identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Superior analytical, strategic, communication, interpersonal and writing skills are of paramount importance, as is a strong work ethic, commitment to being a team player, and an aptitude to quickly learn the nuances of the internet, technology and media businesses.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

3+ years of compliance-related experience in regulation management, governance, risk and controls management, or regulatory functions in a highly regulated industry.
Ability to research and understand laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, court opinions, and enforcement actions.
A strong aptitude for policy, process, procedure, analytics, and effective reporting.
Experience in utilizing and maintaining management tools used for compliance, risk management, and reporting.
Works independently as a member of a high-performing team, with the ability to take initiative in proposing and implementing solutions.
Prior project implementation is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
Once hired, the Senior Associate may be required to obtain gaming licenses from various jurisdictions in order to represent FanDuel before regulators in those jurisdictions.

The applicable salary range for this position is $70,000 - $88,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
