THE POSITION

Responsible Gaming is one of the key components of FanDuel’s long term strategy to deliver a best-in-class sports betting experience. The Responsible Gaming Associate will sit in the Responsible Gaming Operations team whose focus is on assessing customers and working across departments to help provide a safe, sustainable experience for all FanDuel customers.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • This team will focus on ensuring that the whole Responsible Gaming Operations team is operating effectively daily. As such they will focus on optimizing our process and ensuring that all key pieces of work are correctly executed..
  • Handling daily customer interactions in the responsible gaming queues, prioritizing the handling of all contacts, and handling escalations of customer support or other frontline teams.
  • Act as a point of contact for other customer facing teams (VIP, Retail and Customer Service) to provide Responsible Gaming guidance and support.
  • Conduct Responsible Gaming risk assessments of customer accounts and manage accounts appropriately based on the outcome of the assessment.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems that will enable the team to work better.
  • Collaborating with the Responsible Gaming Team to perform other responsible gaming-related duties as requested.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good investigative and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of total business experience, ideally in customer impacting operations roles (Customer support, Payments, Compliance, Fraud). Experience in the gaming industry or other highly regulated industries also preferred.
  • Comfortable working with comprehensive datasets and identifying patterns/trends and coming up with an appropriate plan of action.
  • This role will require the candidate to obtain licenses from various jurisdictions to complete tasks associated with their role at FanDuel.
