This role will be a critical member of the Global partnership team that supports the growth, management, coordination and execution of League partnerships.  Key role is to align partnership approach to drive global revenue, increased activation and execute on the global strategy.

This new role will lead and oversee global work across three key areas of responsibility including:

  • Centralized Lead for Global Business
  • Global Strategy and New Business Support
  • Centralized Lead for strategic priorities (e.g., Asset development)

Responsibilities

  • Centralized Lead for Global Business
  • Responsible for business planning for all partnership financial processes Globally, working closely with the VP’s of International and Domestic sponsorship, including international GM’s on business planning
  • Global Account Management Support
    • Implement partner best practices for territories and accountable for territory adoption.
    • Centralized lead for global business retention and growth, ensuring strategic upsell alignment across global partner portfolio
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Internal cross-functional lead within key League departments to ensure effective coordination, efficient communication and prioritize commercial opportunities.
  • Global Strategy and New Business Support
  • Market Entry Support
    • Conduct market analysis for commercialization to develop pipeline
    • Category and prospect identification/prioritization
    • Track and report on global and country specific competition and in-market campaigns and activations.
  • New Business Support
    • Collaborate with New Business teams on partnership approach for global, domestic and international markets and responsible for implementation of approach.
    • Provide research/valuations for prospect proposals
  • Process Development
    • Develop standardized deal approach and approval processes when dealing with global deals, country only/market specific deals and international game only deals while also allowing for flexibility needed to accommodate local nuances (e.g., pricing, laws, compliance, etc.)
    • Create and maintain communication plan to ensure synergies across markets
    • Lead team previously responsible for domestic partnership strategy now expanding to support global strategy.
  • Centralized Lead for Strategic Priorities
  • Strategic Initiative Commercial Lead
    • Working with the VP International sponsorship and consulting with local teams, to deliver new assets to territories to commercialize for deals.
    • Develop and implement local activations with GM marketing, events and sponsorship teams to commercialize.
    • Generate commercial opportunities utilizing domestic assets that support international growth (e.g. NFL social, broadcasting, etc)
    • Implement sales opportunities around new global assets (e.g Flag, Academy, Player Pathway)
  • Market Implementation
    • Connecting all leads, including GM’s, International events/club marketing team, broadcasting/media to ensure growth and maximize efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • League/sports agency or relevant experience (sponsorship experience a plus)
  • Analysis/consulting experience a plus
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Adobe (Photoshop)

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. Work in this particular role will likely exceed 40 hours per week
  • Some weekend work for hosting clients and event management

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Salary
$175,000$215,000 USD
