Zing Coach is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to spearhead the User Activation team and ensure our new users form healthy fitness habits within their first 30 days. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a strong background in B2C subscription apps, particularly in industries where habit formation is critical for retention.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of new user onboarding and activation at Zing, delivering an optimized user experience influencing habit formation of using the Zing app within the user’s first 30 days
Lead the ideation, prioritization, and execution of the Activation team’s product and experimentation roadmap
Run extensive A/B testing and UX experiments to iterate on the onboarding and Activation flows for impact on habit forming and retention rates
Understand Zing’s core segments and habit behavior personas to optimize the Moments of Activation per segment
Formulate Activation and habit tracking metrics to impact workout retention, customer churn, and upsells in the customer’s first month, thereby moving the needle on customer LTV
Collaborate closely with AI teams, UX Research, Data Analytics, UX/UI Design, CRM, User Acquisition, Marketing, business leadership, etc. for roadmap alignment
Work closely with Engineering for quality and timely delivery of new features on both iOS and Android apps
Be hands-on with generating data insights and qualitative feedback to drive decisions for product innovation
Contribute to the larger product culture at Zing with best practices and set an example for fellow team members like a mentor
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in user activation, habit formation, and mobile app design
We expect that you have
Experience: Minimum 8 years in product management, with at least 2-3 years of driving retention growth for B2C subscription apps
Strong preference: Experience delivering wins for new user onboarding/activation/habit-forming experiences for personal development apps (fitness, health, education), gaming apps, or apps with natural habit cycles
Bonus: Deep understanding of habit formation principles and behavior psychology
Master at A/B experimentation with practical knowledge of best practices
Excellent problem-solving and data-driven product skills
Immaculate communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Knowledge and experience with best practices of agile and scrum product development
Excellent project management and organizational abilities
Great communication skills and fluency in English
