An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technical SEO Executive to join our in-house team. You will support the technical SEO strategy across our brands in a highly competitive niche. You’ll work closely with our Product and Development teams to analyse performance, identify issues, and improve the overall health of our websites.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct regular technical audits across multiple group-owned websites to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Provide technical requirements to Product and Development teams with clear prioritisation and t-shirt model estimations.
  • Manage site migrations and new website development, including the creation of event-focused microsites.
  • Develop and execute the technical SEO strategy by providing analytical insights and strategic technical recommendations.
  • Maintain regular reports on KPIs, with a particular focus on website health, site speed, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Create and maintain SEO reporting dashboards for various sites and microsites.
  • Implement and check on-site tracking across our sites and microsites.
  • Ensure compliance with Core Web Vital metrics and improve site/page speed.
  • Maintain key relationships between Product, Tech, and Marketing teams.
  • Support the Technical SEO Manager with product roadmaps.
  • Assist the wider SEO team with on-page and off-page activities.
  • Share best practices in technical SEO with the SEO team and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an SEO role, either agency or in-house.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO and up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
  • Proficient with platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Excel.
  • Experienced in identifying and resolving issues related to Core Web Vitals and site/page speed.
  • Skilled in creating SEO reporting dashboards.
  • Knowledgeable in best practices for site/URL architecture.
  • Familiar with platforms such as Lumar, Screaming Frog, and Majestic.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced with CMS platforms.
  • Capable of owning projects end-to-end and clearly communicating with stakeholders.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Accuranker, and Majestic.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to an audience.
  • Strong knowledge of both domestic and international sports.
  • Knowledge of Python/scripting for developing automated SEO solutions.
  • Experience with site/platform migrations.

Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
