OVERVIEW

As the Store Planner, you will be spearheading the strategic execution of inventory and planning initiatives, with a focus on optimizing operations for new store openings. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will develop and manage store plans aligned with brand strategies, maximizing sales and profitability through location-based inventory investments. Drawing on your industry expertise, you'll introduce continual process, tool, and methodology improvements. The store planner will serve as the strategic cross-functional partner for Merchandising, Buying, Allocations, and Store Operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication, while seizing inventory opportunities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Drive the execution of strategic inventory and planning initiatives for new store openings.
  • Create new store opening plans, blending allocation expertise with product insights and store layout considerations.
  • Lead strategic initiatives from a regional, climatic, and store-centric viewpoint to optimize sales and inventory dynamics.
  • Leverage comprehensive analysis to determine optimal choice counts, inventory levels, and assortment strategies, ensuring maximal unit productivity across diverse store profiles.
  • Harness regional insights, consumer behavior, and financial analytics to craft tailored inventory recommendations, driving store growth initiatives.
  • Forge synergistic partnerships across departments, fostering a collaborative environment to seize inventory opportunities and future stakeholder relationships for sustained success.
  • Partner and oversee the exit strategy of seasonal phase-out inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and advanced retail math skills
  • Ability to lead cross functional discussions, positively influence others, and gain alignment
  • Advanced analytical and presentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Ability to extract data from multiple platforms. Tableau and Anaplan experience a plus
  • BA Degree
  • 4+ years of experience

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
