Trading Development Executive

Let's start with the role

As a Trading Development Executive you will be part of a small team that leads varying sportsbook product initiatives to ensure our platform features meet our stakeholder expectations. You'll ensure our platform features meet stakeholder expectations by collaborating with internal Tech teams and third-party Sportsbook providers. You'll be the voice of our operational teams within the trading division, guaranteeing that our sportsbook platform remains high-performing and meets customer needs as we grow.

• Partner with trading teams to define requirements of operational issues, trading tools and sportsbook product enhancements,ensure that these requirements are captured and documented in a consistent way, and ultimately fed to the appropriate development team.
• Review, test and assess Ariadne’s delivered solutions after every product release, ensuring they meet their purpose and exploring opportunities for improvement.
• Update status of open support tickets, follow up on their progress and hold regular meetings with all stakeholder to ensure you have the latest information and keep them updated on progress.
• Translate business needs into high level requirements for new to market features. Drive delivery of these features in conjunction with the development team via prioritized stories.
• Provide clarifications on the user stories for the development team
• Act as an internal testing team, including user-acceptance testing of new developments, to ensure features function as expected.

What you will bring

• 3 + years of experience in a sports trading role.
• A degree in a quantitative subject (e.g Math, Statistics, Engineering)
• Comprehensive understanding of sports betting (both user and back-end) and a wide range of sports.
• Experience using/working with sportsbook backend systems and third-party data/pricing feeds.
• Self-motivated with an analytical mindset and a passion for problem solving.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong skills in testing sportsbook software for user acceptance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and build strong relationships with internal and external service providers.
