We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new £5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an exceptional, proactive, passionate and driven individual who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help us grow our brand presence in the United States.

This position will sit across multiple disciplines with a high-level goal of driving Runna forward in the United States. You will have a strong focus on ambassadors – ensuring our they LOVE working with Runna and that our channel is driving amazing results. You’ll also work to support our incredible partners and events to ensure our subscribers in the US love everything about us.

As an Ambassador Associate, your role will include:

1. Sourcing and Supporting US Ambassadors (70%):
1. Sourcing new US ambassadors: Working closely with our Head of Ambassadors to source and support new US ambassadors.
2. Managing existing US ambassadors: Working closely with our US GM and Ambassador Managers to support US ambassadors. You’ll be responsible for ensuring they LOVE working with us (including onboarding experience, engagement with races and events, product + training expertise and content inspiration)
2. Organizing and Hosting Event Activations (20%):
1. Hosting event activations (e.g. run clubs) in and around Boston and NYC.
2. Supporting our US GM, ambassador and partnerships teams to host flagship race weekend activations and ambassador race trips (e.g. NYC Marathon weekend).
3. Sourcing and Supporting US Partners (10%):
1. Sourcing and managing existing US partners: Working closely with our US GM and Partnerships Managers to support US partners. For race partners, you’ll be responsible for ensuring they have an amazing onboarding experience and that the rights we purchase are activated in the most efficient / value-adding manner. For brands, you’ll be helping them drive value to our users and distribute Runna to theirs!

A degree isn’t required for this role, but if you don’t have a degree, we do want to see some experience for this role such as personal projects, internships, or other work experience.

• You’re a “doer”; not just a “thinker”. You’re hands-on and want to roll up your sleeves / get stuck in (you have a real ‘go get it’ attitude).
• You’re organized, efficient and can execute at pace. You can manage lots of spinning plates and prioritize effectively.
• You care about the small things and have high attention to detail.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You’re a fast learner, see feedback as a gift and constantly think about how you can improve.
• You’re fun, personable and love running!
• You’re Boston-based (or able to work in person 2+ days per week), and you’re happy to travel to New York semi-regularly to meet our ambassadors.

Interview process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:

1. Kick off! (Please apply now via Workable)
2. Introductory chat with Lou GM, North America (30-minute video call)
3. Take Home Task (~60 minutes)
4. Interview with Caitlin, Head of Ambassadors (60 minutes video call)
5. Office visit (in-person chat with Lou and rest of the team)

Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

Benefits

We offer a salary of $45,000 - $52,000 (depending on experience), plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.

We'll be growing our package of benefits over time. We currently offer:
