Overview
The Business Systems Manager will lead system configuration of Tonal’s supply chain, SKU management, inventory management, logistics and field operations processes, including managing projects with internal and external partners, gathering requirements, building necessary reports and improving Tonal’s operational system efficiency. This individual will facilitate the planning and execution of business changes through process optimization and technology. This role is ideal for an individual with a technical operations background and experience driving and implementing scalable business applications.
This position offers a vast spectrum of experience and opportunities to improve processes within Tonal’s ERP & CRM, scope necessary integrations, and architect solutions to build a growing business. The role will be based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada / Remote and report to the Director, Business Applications.
What You Will DoUnderstand and articulate business objectives by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Field Operations, Inventory Planning, and eCommerce teams.Develop business cases, identify opportunities and recommendations that leverage automation and systems-based solutions to solve stakeholder challengesExecute requirements analysis, construct necessary diagrams and charts, and write specificationsDevelop and maintain system documentation, reflecting up-to-date departmental process changesPrepare technical reports from collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information trendsManage backlogs, inbound requests and bug management to support development resources and on-time execution of business needsPartner with and manage third-party vendors; ensure timely resolution of issues and manage project budgetsLead end-to-end project execution with partners and/or professional servicesCommunicate status updates with stakeholders and business technology leadersMaintain technical knowledge from self-paced learning, assisted learning, or attendance to related workshopsWho You Are4+ years experience in operations-related functionTechnical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or similarExposure to transactional systems, primarily in ERP, EDI, and partner portals - NetSuite, SPS Commerce, Salesforce, DispatchTrackProcess-oriented with strong Project Management skills and ability to define workflows, plan, execute, and documentUnafraid to make mistakes, and are the first with a solution to fix themProactive and self-motivated in practicing and learning something new, always eager to expand your knowledgeExcellent problem solver with the patience to ensure information gathered from the business is accurate and agreed uponA solid communicator and an active listener, with an eye for digging into root causesComfortable working with large volumes of data and structuring data setsReasonable time zone flexibility to interface with global development teamsThe range of base salary for the position is between $97,000 - $125,000 CAD plus equity and benefits. We take into consideration an individual’s background, experience, and location in determining their salary. This role is also eligible for health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and other additional benefits.

Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
