Who will you report to Director Supply Chain & Procurement | End-2-End Coordination

Type: Full-time
Location: Berlin
Team: Operational Purchasing

 

What can you expect to work on?

  • You are responsible for the efficient organization of purchase order management from requisition to delivery. Ensuring all orders are placed promptly, accurately, and according to company policies.

  • You monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery, addressing any delays or issues with suppliers. Coordinate with the Warehousing and Logistics team for uninterrupted stock transportation and reception in warehouses.

  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any disputes or issues with suppliers promptly to maintain good working relationships.

  • You monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet operational needs. Coordinate with the Inventory Management team to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.

  • You evaluate supplier On-Time-In-Full performance and conduct regular cost-benefit analyses.

  • With your strong collaboration and communication skills you are the interface between suppliers, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams.

  • You are on top of industry trends and best practices to identify and implement process improvements in the purchasing process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

 

 

What you bring: 

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in a similar role in the purchasing department, preferably within the FMCG sector.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in supplier management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a passion for delivering a great experience for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams.

  • You have an excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.

  • Highly motivated to work in a team with a drive for results.

  • Business-level fluency in English.
