The Job

At Flo Health, our international finance team is crucial to our success, combining operational efficiency with strategic insight. We handle compliance, provide insightful management reporting, and conduct thorough financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. We manage our treasury and investor relations, set strong financial controls, and oversee various essential operational processes. 

Strategically, we act as true business partners, advising decision-makers on setting business priorities. Our approach ensures we not only maintain our financial health but also drive Flo Health's overall success.

We’re currently seeking an experienced Bank Accountant to join our Accounting team. As part of a 10-member group, you’ll be responsible for all payment activities and resource sufficiency across Flo Health’s companies.

As a business now approaching 500 people, with an international presence across Europe, strong financials, and an ever developing product, there’s plenty to get involved with and learn from working in a fast-paced Health-tech scale up. 

Please note: we’re open to considering a variety of levels of seniority for this role, so if you have experience working in Accounting, Accounts Payable, and ideally in Bank Accounting, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Experience

Must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in General Accounting or Accounts Payable. 
  • Experience working with payment transactions and banks.
  • Knowledge of the main types of payments (ACH, SEPA, INT wire, BACs)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously in an independent work environment.
  • Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in top-tier ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
  • Experience managing payments in large European and US banks.
  • Cash-management skills
  • Basic understanding of hedging mechanics
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS principles
  • Working with corporate cards and respective tools (SpenDesk, Payhawk, Navan etc.)

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Execute payments using various online banking systems (Barclays, JP Morgan Chase, Hellenic Bank, SEB, Bank of America).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bank-related transactions in NetSuite.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for multiple subsidiaries.
  • Participate in month-end close procedures related to the Accounts Payable process.
  • Monitor and manage cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for daily payments and operations.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions 
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and ensure execution of the company’s hedging strategy.
  • Manage corporate cards and related transactions
  • Facilitate Finance Leadership team and Director of Tax and Treasury in building effective cash management.  
  • Improving processes and controls based on your current experience and through continuous learning and discovery

You'll be targeted on:

  • Ensuring all payments are made correctly and on time.
  • Smooth financial audits in all locations
  • Continuous automation of accounting processes

We’re open to considering a variety of skill levels for this position and can hire either a 'Bank Accountant' or 'Senior Bank Accountant'. In Vilnius:

Our 'Bank Accountant' range is from 2400 EUR gross per month.

Our 'Senior Bank Accountant' range is from 3000 EUR gross per month.
