The Ballpark Operations Department encompasses the Security, Maintenance, Grounds, Engineering, Event Services/Operations, and Guest Services Event Staff groups. These teams within the collective Operations Experience umbrella figure prominently in both delivering a premier event day experience and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the ballpark. About the Role
The San Francisco Giants are looking for a Ballpark Operations Intern for the 2026 baseball season, to provide a unique opportunity for individuals looking to understand the inner workings of a ballpark pre, during, and post baseball games and events. You’ll experience the collaboration that takes place between the Ballpark Operations department managers, a variety of internal Giants departments, and the event staff groups on different projects and initiatives that directly correlate with the successful execution of the ballpark’s diverse portfolio of venue events. You will be expected to assist with daily operations and a variety of tasks and responsibilities in conjunction with game/event-day preparations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be collaborative, creative, and proactive, as well as a strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy. This role reports to the Senior Systems & Facilities Manager, Ballpark Operations, and this position will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco. 

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… 
-Develop a full understanding of Oracle Park layout and ballpark policies.
-Assist with the creation and distribution of gameday guest and media credentials.
-Assist with the creation and distribution of day of game staff and vendor credentials.
-Assist with the training and implementation for incident reporting.
-Provide support coverage to the ballpark’s gameday Event Dispatch Center.
-Participate in game day departmental exploration with the 6 groups encompassing Ballpark Operations.
-Assist with written and verbal correspondence with guests regarding Lost and Found items from games and events.
-Assist department with various administrative duties and projects including filing, correspondence, updating spreadsheets, and special projects as needed.
-Assist department with various gameday duties including gate/special event giveaways, special events operations, and others as assigned.
-Assist with customer inquiries in the Guest Services Office during baseball games and events.
-Produce an internship project (determined jointly by intern and supervisor).

Qualifications
-Current student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or recently graduated in the past 12 months.
-Previous event/venue operations experience a plus.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Proficient knowledge of MS Office & Google Suite (with emphasis in Outlook, Excel, and Word).
-Must be collaborative, creative, and proactive.
-Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
-Must be available 30-40 hours/week during homestands, with general alignment to the baseball game schedule including nights and weekends.
