About the Opportunity

Join us for a full-time, 12- to 14-week internship that offers continuous learning, hands-on experience, and collaborative opportunities.

You’ll be working in a multidisciplinary, cross-functional AI team to research, analyze, and build machine learning (ML) algorithms and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop state-of-the-art ML prototypes for applications in coronary CT angiography.
• Conduct algorithmic analyses and evaluate prototype performance.
• Present findings and recommendations to peers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to patent applications and research publications.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD or MS program in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Imaging, or a related technical field.
• Research experience in applying machine learning and deep learning to medical image processing (e.g., denoising, registration, segmentation, classification, reconstruction, detection).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across groups and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications (Impress Us More!):

• Experience in developing and applying advanced deep learning models, such as Stable Diffusion, vision transformer, and building foundation models with self-supervised training.
• Strong track record of publications in top-tier medical imaging or computer vision conferences.

The base salary range for this role varies by location and is aligned to market benchmarks.

• Candidates located in higher-cost labor markets, including California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC represent the middle to high end of the range, while candidates located in all other U.S. locations represent the low to middle end of the range.
• Final compensation is determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
• Hourly Salary (40 hours per week): $35 - $45
• Duration: 3-4 months
