Join Wargaming as a seasoned 2D Artist, where your artistic expertise will play a pivotal role in the development of an exciting, action-packed mobile game. Collaborate closely with our creative leaders to produce a diverse range of 2D assets and illustrations. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping the visual identity of our game, from intricate killing cards and distinctive player avatars to captivating splash art and immersive environment elements like in-world posters, advertisements, and products. Your creative input will also extend to designing unique icons and logos that resonate with our game's theme.

What will you do?

• Craft visually stunning and engaging illustrations for various aspects of the game, including eye-catching splash arts, customizable player avatars, and smaller yet impactful environment assets like posters, products, and logos.

• Work in tandem with the creative leadership to develops the game’s visual identity

What are we looking for?

• A strong experience in a similar role (Game Artist, Illustrator, 2D Artist) within the gaming or art studio environment.

• Proficiency in digital painting tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

• A strong grasp of artistic fundamentals, including composition, digital painting, color theory, and graphic design principles.

• An understanding and appreciation of the mobile gaming landscape, either as a player or a developer.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a portfolio showcasing your creative range and graphic capabilities.

• Enthusiasm for storytelling through art and the ability to effectively communicate your ideas in English.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• A genuine passion for video games.

• Skills in animating 2D assets, preferably using software like Spline or Adobe After Effects.

• Experience with 3D software like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max for rendering models that can be integrated into your illustrations.

This position is located in Berlin, with 3 out 5 mandatory office days
