Wargaming invites 2D Character Artist to join the team of World of Warships projects. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about creating characters that will be inspiring to players, and who is willing to learn and share their knowledge with the team.

2D Art Team creates visual assets for in-game, marketing, and corporate use. It's a great opportunity to showcase your creativity, deliver your artwork to players, collaborate with a talented team, and enhance your skills in a friendly environment.

What will you do?

• Create high-quality portraits of characters in different styles (mostly realistic and semirealistic)

• Create concepts of historical and event characters

• Collaborate with the art supervisor, the art team, reporters, and historical consultants to understand the characters' personalities and meet visual and technical requirements

What are we looking for?

• Relevant portfolio

• Proficient drawing skills in Adobe Photoshop

• Strong understanding of human anatomy and drawing fundamentals: values, proportions, shapes, composition, lighting, colors, and perspective

• Ability to align to certain art styles

• Experience in working with matte painting technique

• Good communication skills for teamwork

• English at the intermediate level or higher

• Readiness to work in an office environment

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Art Degree

• Traditional art knowledge

• 3D modeling, texturing, and sculpting experience (Z-Brush, Maya, Blender)

• Gaming experience or interest in computer games

• Fluency in Russian
