Job description We are searching for a Software Engineer to join one of our software engineering teams dedicated to our esports products, platforms & services, in particular our tournament platform ESL Play (https://play.eslgaming.com). Together we will expand our tournament system features or building integrations with the biggest esports games, publishers & platforms. Your future tasks Together with your team plan the work that you will do Develop new & maintain existing features and services Write tests to ensure reliability & minimize maintenance burden Document your work so others understand it Take part in code reviews to ensure & raise the quality of your team’s work Job requirements Must haves 2-5 years of work experience in software engineering Experience in writing backend software, preferably in at least one of the languages we use: Scala (we use Finch, Finagle, Finatra) and PHP Fluent English Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, open environment Nice to have University degree, apprenticeship or other formal qualification in Software Engineering or similar field Esports or gaming industry experience or at least interest in esports or gaming Experience with JavaScript Continuous Integration/Deployment Service orchestration Databases Linux system administration Job benefits What is it like working at Turtle Entertainment?
