THE JOB / Account Executive, Client Services (Asset Management and Operations) (Payment Services Client)

CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon’s client business and day-to-day management of client

***Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, and this person would have to work 2-3 days a week out of the Stamford, CT office.

Octagon is looking for an Account Executive to support the management of sponsorship and partnership assets and operations needed for various Client programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and process management skills, and experience in producing reports for analysis! The position has project management responsibilities and requires a desire to work as part of a team with the capability to work and solve problems independently.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments, and agency partners.
  • Assist with the management of all contractual sponsorship assets that are used to fulfill a wide range of client business objectives globally.
  • Help with the management of the online system used to upload assets, track, manage and fulfill
  • Provide support to system users and gather/filter raised issues, as
  • Work closely with third-party vendor to ensure the client’s needs are being
  • Manage event ticket inventory distribution and communicate with vendor managers to confirm ticket usage.
  • Track and support personal use for each property, ensuring compliance with company policies and client agreements.
  • Support the day-to-day work related to client initiatives, including competitive landscapes, quarterly calendars, property research and review and other relevant initiatives.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and prepare and distribute weekly and quarterly reports as well as Ad Hoc Reports with each property team.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing property performance, asset utilization, and key insights for client presentations.
  • Manage and participate in weekly status meetings by creating agendas, participating in the discussion, providing recap summaries, and discussing upcoming events, platform updates and ongoing projects.
  • Develop guidelines, sell in presentations, and best practices documents to distribute internally and to clients.
  • Support research property evaluations.
  • Support quarterly competitive reporting.
  • Keep up on cultural moments across sport around the
  • Provide general sponsorship property support across client
  • Contribute to the overall account and new
  • Find and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Strive to produce high quality, accurate work.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of asset management, and operational projects ensuring accuracy in data entry and documentation.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • An impressive work ethic with the initiative to constantly go above and
  • A passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle
  • 1-2 years of experience working with sports & entertainment properties, leagues
  • You demonstrate persistence to make sure the client’s questions and reports are delivered in a timely and thorough manner.
  • An ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working as both part of a team and independently.
  • Effectively manage time to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • An ability to work efficiently, organize deliverables and multitask shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Ability to work in MS Excel, building reports and producing data-driven analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information/data with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Top-notch organization skills and attention to detail are a must-have.
  • A positive mindset, with a “no job is too small”
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends/holidays as
  • Fluency in multiple languages a plus, especially Spanish.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Low (0-15%

L1: This position pays $40,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
