Working in a fast paced Music Agency to maintain and first-class accounts for our Artists.  This is an exciting role for someone with an eye for accounting and attention to detail, who can work under pressure to strict deadlines.  This is not a ‘typical’ accounting role; it is bespoke to the industry and focuses primarily on getting the artists paid within the short time-frame as laid out in their contracts.  You will work within the client account department; each coordinator will work with between 4-8 agents.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining and reconciling Client (Artist) accounts on Sage 200 & our bespoke booking database
  • Raising weekly statements for artists through our bespoke database
  • Raising commission invoices
  • Recharging artists for expenses
  • Ensuring accurate recording of multi-currency transactions
  • Making payments to artists
  • Credit Control for individual shows of the agents overseeing
  • Working with Assistants to ensure all outstanding funds are accounted for
  • Communicating internally with the agents and assistants
  • Liaising and building relationships with Artists, Managers and Accountant
  • Managing monthly report of artist account balances
  • Managing monthly accurate report of the agent overseeing commissions
  • Ensuring up to date knowledge regarding FEU, Withholding taxes & VAT
