Accounts Payable Officer - Transactional Services

This role sits within our Finance team and plays an important part in supporting Entain’s procure-to-pay and wider transactional services activities across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll help keep supplier payments, internal queries, reimbursements, records, banking support, and reporting activities running smoothly, accurately, and on time. 

More than a traditional AP processing role, this position is about ownership, communication, and problem-solving. With a large portion of invoice processing supported by an offshore team, you’ll help manage exceptions, resolve queries, support stakeholders, and build trust across the business. 

Your Impact 

• Support transactional services across AP/P2P, supplier queries, requisitions, reimbursements, corporate cards and payment support. 
• Manage supplier and internal stakeholder queries with professionalism, urgency, and a customer-focused approach. 
• Work with local and offshore finance teams to resolve issues, clarify responsibilities, and keep processes moving. 
• Maintain accurate, well-controlled processes while identifying risks or process gaps and escalating where needed. 

What You’ll Bring 

• Strong accounts payable or procure-to-pay experience, ideally gained in a high-volume or business-facing finance environment. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and think beyond the task in front of you. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence handling supplier and internal business queries 
• Ability to work independently once trained, manage priorities with low supervision, and balance process, controls and practical judgment 

Nice to Have 

These are a bonus, so if you don’t have them all, we’d still like to hear from you. 

• Oracle Cloud experience, particularly payables, expenses, or procurement. 
• Exposure to shared services, offshore teams, payment runs, reimbursements, corporate cards or requisitions.
• Exposure to audit, controls, supplier setup, duplicate payment prevention or process improvement.
