THE POSITION

We are currently looking for an Acquisition Strategy Associate to support the strategic growth and operational excellence of our customer acquisition initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to drive impact across alternative acquisition channels, promotional operations, and customer experience optimization while working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our acquisition capabilities.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

Acquisition Channel Strategy & Operations:

  • Own and optimize acquisition channels including Refer-a-Friend (RAF), Verified Not-Activated, and Cross-Sell
  • Conduct channel operations while developing and testing strategies to optimize both product experience and offer mechanics
  • Support costing analyses to improve forecasting accuracy
  • Build upon existing strategies and determine next-phase opportunities, including leveraging targetable offers and media integration

New User Conversion Strategy:

  • Assist with conversion strategies across various points in the customer acquisition funnel, focusing on users at different stages of their journey
  • Execute comprehensive testing programs including communication cadence, copy optimization, offer mechanics, and generosity levels
  • Partner with Legal team to expand messaging capabilities and improve targeting options for users throughout the conversion process
  • Implement insights from A/B testing to drive continuous improvement in conversion rates across all funnel stages

Promotional Operations & Process Excellence:

  • Manage end-to-end promotional operations including creative requests, onboarding journey merchandising, CRM operations coordination, terms & conditions management, and more
  • Streamline processes with promotional operations, legal, and other cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Service teams with promotional and product issue resolution and escalation management

Customer Experience & Insights:

  • Gather insights to identify new user pain points and develop actionable improvement plans
  • Support the team on maximizing untapped efficiencies and enhancements to promotional capabilities
  • Facilitate testing and implementation of sign up and onboarding experience optimizations

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in growth marketing, customer acquisition, or strategy and operations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred
  • Strong operational mindset with proven ability to manage complex, multi-channel programs
  • Experience with promotional operations, campaign management, and cross-functional coordination
  • Proficiency with marketing technology stack including CRM platforms, testing tools, and analytics platforms
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Customer-focused mindset with understanding of user experience optimization
  • Intermediate-advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis and reporting
  • Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
  • An avid sports and gaming fan, and have played FanDuel or competitive products

The applicable hourly range for this position is   $35.10 - $43.75 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
