When it comes to health, we’re always looking for ways to push for better. It’s why we were founded in the first place. In 1957, our founder, pharmacist William Wilkinson, witnessed a mother sacrifice her health by forgoing her own medicine to pay for her sick daughter’s prescription. He knew there had to be a better way. So, he introduced North America’s first prepaid drug plan, and GreenShield was born as a not-for-profit with a mission to support better health for all Canadians.

En 1957, notre fondateur, William Wilkinson, pharmacien de profession, a vu une mère sacrifier sa santé en renonçant à ses propres médicaments pour pouvoir acheter ceux de sa fille malade. Trouvant cette situation injuste, il s’est dit qu’il devait bien y avoir un autre moyen. Il a élaboré le premier régime d’assurance-médicaments prépayé en Amérique du Nord et c’est comme ça qu’est née Green Shield, un gestionnaire de services de santé sans but lucratif qui a réinvesti ses gains pour soutenir une meilleure santé pour tous les Canadiens.
Aujourd’hui, nous suivons les traces de notre fondateur et nous poursuivons notre quête d’une meilleure solution. Green Shield n’est plus seulement un gestionnaire traditionnel de soins de santé et dentaires, mais elle est la première organisation intégrée de services de santé au Canada à remplir à la fois le rôle de payeur – offrant des services d’assurance, d’administration des garanties et de règlement des réclamations – et le rôle de fournisseur – offrant des services médicaux, de santé mentale et pharmaceutiques.
The role in a nutshell
Direct Account Management Work
Manage a portfolio of small clients including program set-up, implementation, monitoring program usage and reporting working collaboratively across the organization with our marketing, technology, customer support and finance teams.Liaise with clients regarding new GreenShield Health services, and operations and seek opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.Facilitate client orientation sessions to educate end-users on their unique GreenShield Health programDeliver exceptional customer service to our clients professionally.
Supporting Account Management Work. This involves supporting:
Account Managers in many aspects of implementation and program operations including but not limited; to the coordination of new implementations, preparation of launch materials and client reports, attending and taking minutes at key client meetings and effective use of our project management platform.Business Development team including but not limited to supporting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) responses, preparing client contracts, creation of lead lists, optimizing activity in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Maintenance of Sales/Account Management Playbooks.Ad-hoc tasks and participate in special projects and initiatives as requested.Le poste en résumé
Gestion des comptes
