Job Summary
This is a Data Entry position. As an Ad Intel Classification Analyst, you will be responsible for the identification, monitoring and classification of advertising from a range of media types using bespoke monitoring software.
Responsibilities
Using Nielsen applications, identify relevant advertising from a variety of media.
Enter key details into the database from adverts for clients to use to improve their own media campaigns and monitor competitor activity
Follow and understand coding rule guidelines.
Follow established business rules to identify products or services being advertised.
Identify valid new brand records to flag for additional research.
Research problem areas found in the database through daily maintenance procedures to address and resolve discrepancies.
View digitised print content using the proprietary print platform; content viewed includes national and local Consumer Magazines and Newspapers.
Sort and organise digitised content to ensure all pages of an ad are captured together.
Assign positions and page attributes as outlined by media-specific guidelines.
Identify advertising content within digitised print content by “clipping” ads, or validating automated “clips”.
Quickly and accurately identify characteristics from the image like Brand/Advertiser Name, Product Classification, Ad Type, Color and Positioning of Advertisement, Title Information.
Watch and listen to commercial suspects via video clips and use Ad Intel classification guidelines to determine the type of suspect (commercial, promo, PSA, etc.).
Work as part of a team to ensure all departmental deadlines are met.
Work to reach and exceed agreed targets for both productivity and quality to enable the team to meet all SLA agreements.
Receive feedback from your line manager or supervisor and act upon it to ensure continuous improvement.
Work closely with your peers and communicate on a regular basis to help support each other and ensure everyone is working effectively towards the same goal.
