AFL Video Tech
Provide industry-wide video service by capturing game footage from Arizona Fall League contests and making video available to players, staff, and affiliate clubs.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and take down cameras in strategic locations before each AFL game
- Manage game video and technology equipment
- Serve as on-site video liaison for the AFL and its stakeholders
- Track and update rosters and player information
- Verify data accuracy and video quality
- Provide daily updates to staff and content partners
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and strong interest in baseball operations, amateur scouting, and player development
- Proficiency with computers (Windows, Mac).
- Experience with video cameras, SD cards, tripods, and mounting clamps
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must work well independently and collaboratively
- Operational accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Availability to work nights and weekends
Timing and Compensation:
- Position begins in late September and runs through mid-November.
- Compensation includes:
- competitive hourly rate
- travel/housing allowance for out of state hires
- Hires are responsible for securing housing and transportation
