We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new £5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. We’re now looking ahead to the future and the people that want to help us build and scale Runna. Our aim is to reach millions of subscribers in the next 5 years and be the go-to training platform for any runner. In January, off the back of a hugely successful launch of our ambassador programme, we built a brand new team. Our goal is to scale and grow the programme, both in the UK and internationally. This means it’s a super exciting time to be getting involved!

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for an exceptional, proactive, passionate and driven individual who’s ready to get stuck in and help us build the best ambassador programme out there! You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our ambassadors LOVE working with Runna and that our channel is driving amazing results. This includes owning relationships with our affiliates, as well as supporting our ambassador managers to deliver an exceptional experience to our high-value partners.

As Ambassador Associate, your role will include:

1. Owning our affiliate relationships: We work with a bunch of amazing affiliates who train with Runna, share their journey and earn a commission for plans sold through their code. You’ll be responsible for ensuring they LOVE working with us. This includes ensuring they have an amazing onboarding experience, are engaged with the races and events we have coming up, are experts on the app and how to showcase key features, and that they know how they’re performing!
2. Supporting our ambassador managers to deliver an exceptional experience: Our ambassador managers manage key relationships with high-value, long-term partners. You’ll play a key role in supporting these relationships by helping to deliver ambassador events, race trips, kit and much more!
3. Identifying opportunities to optimise our ambassador programme: You’ll be responsible for improving the experience we deliver to our ambassadors, whether that be improving our content guidance, inspiring them on new ways to share the app or creating campaigns they can get involved in.

Where this role could take you:

We see this role as a brilliant entry-level position where you can learn all about the world of ambassador management. Down the line, we see this role progressing into an Ambassador Manager role, owning the relationships with key, high-value partners.

Requirements

A degree isn’t required for this role, but if you don’t have a degree, we do want to see some experience for this role such as personal projects, internships, or other work experience.

About you:

• You’re a “doer”; not just a “thinker”. You’re hands-on and want to roll up your sleeves / get stuck in (you have a real ‘go get it’ attitude).
• You’re organised, efficient and can execute at pace. You can manage lots of spinning plates and prioritise effectively.
• You care about the small things and have high attention to detail.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You’re a fast learner, see feedback as a gift and constantly think about how you can improve.
• You’re fun, personable and (hopefully!) love running!
• You’re London-based (or able to work in person 2+ days per week)

Benefits

We offer a salary of £30-32k (depending on experience), plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.

We'll be growing our package of benefits over time. We currently offer:

• Flexible working (we typically work 2-3 days from our office in Vauxhall)

Interview process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:

1. Kick off! (Please apply now via Workable)
2. Introductory chat with Caitlin, Ambassador Lead (30-minute video call)
3. Take Home Task (~60 minutes)
4. Interview with Caitlin & Josh (60 minutes video call, presenting task)
5. Office visit (in-person chat with founder(s) and rest of the team)
