About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team to support data-driven decision-making within the organization and take ownership of critical billing and contract administration functions. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data, contracts, and financial processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate billing operations while building valuable experience in healthcare finance and contract management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Prepare, process, and generate pharmacy invoices, remittances, and client claim invoices with precision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain client administrative fee databases, generate reports and analytics, and analyze pharmacy claims data to identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities
  • Review and interpret client contracts to extract administrative fee structures and billing requirements, flagging changes or discrepancies that may impact billing processes
  • Assist with pricing analysis, rebate modeling, contract performance evaluation, and support business operations through data-driven insights
  • Work closely with internal teams including finance, legal, clinical services, IT, and client services to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries
  • Participate in operational efficiency initiatives while staying current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and PBM best practices
  • Manage and maintain client administrative fee databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and PBM best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in billing, finance, or data analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
  • SQL or Python programming knowledge and experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts and legal documents
  • Experience with database management systems preferred

EXTRA CREDIT:

  • A knowledgeable individual with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the healthcare, insurance or PBM industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs

SALARY: $70,000-$100,000/yr  

Offer amounts for both remote and in office roles are influenced by geographic location.
