About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for an organized and proactive Analyst to span initiatives in benefits and compensation. In this role, you will partner with People Operations to make strategic, data-driven decisions through the administration of total rewards to identify and report on trends within the business. This role will comprise of project work, as well as monthly recurring business operations and occasional ad hoc support as needed. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, People and Culture.

This is a 12-month contract position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
- Complete regular benefit audits to ensure accuracy of deductions and imputed income
- Reconcile benefit related data between vendor databases and UKG
- Ensure all benefit invoices are thoroughly reviewed and audited before payment
- Manage all benefit vendor reporting needs and deliverables
- Complete analysis of benefits spend vs. utilization to inform future benefit decisions
- Provide timely and accurate deliverables for compensation and benefits projects; proactively implement process improvement initiatives
- Assist with FLSA reviews, ensure compliance for new positions, re-classifications, equity placements, pay practices, status determinations and incentive plan and create eligibility
- Prepare and submit salary survey data to survey houses and use data to create reports outlining market competitiveness of pay structures and variable incentive programs.
- Serve as point of contact for employees, vendors and internal departments on benefits
- Ensure eligibility and contribution integrations are pulling correct data and reconcile any kick outs from vendors with urgency
- Work with Employee Experience team to coordinate on-site wellness and benefit events across the company
- Monitor competitive trends and best practices, provide analysis and recommendations on program enhancements
- Work with people analytics team to develop measurement tools to determine effectiveness of total rewards programs; monitor and provide analysis and insight to the trends
- Submit and audit 401(k), defined contribution plans and pension plans
- Support administration of cyclical compensation programs inclusive of annual pay increase and variable programs
- Work with consultants, third party administrators and vendors to support total reward strategy development with specific focus to financial modeling and business/employee impact
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of human resources experience; PHR certification preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment/labor laws
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS systems preferred
- Ability to quickly adapt, embrace, and implement new technology
- Ability to balance multiple projects in a demanding and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information
- $130,000 - 139,000 per year
