We are looking for an APAC Marketing Operations Manager to join our Pokémon GO team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

Niantic Games, now part of Scopely, builds innovative, real-world gaming experiences that inspire movement, exploration, and social connection.

Niantic Marketing drives community-focused initiatives for our global audience of tens-of-millions of users, demonstrating key partnerships and creative campaigns that reflect the spirit of our company's mission. We believe in making games players love to play, while pushing the boundaries of location-based and AR experiences on mobile.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing, and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

What You’ll Do

Support the APAC Marketing team by improving operational processes and ensuring effective marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Process Optimization: Design, document, and implement end-to-end marketing workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure world-class operational efficiency and effectiveness across the APAC region.
  • Campaign Project Leadership: Lead the project execution of complex marketing campaigns, defining scope, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional resources, and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery in partnership with the Product Marketing Manager (PMM). Oversee the optimization of DM, Channel, and In-game tools for maximum campaign effectiveness.
  • Performance Management & Insight: Own the tracking and reporting of departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis across key marketing functions. Analyze performance data to proactively identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven solutions to drive ambitious growth targets.
  • Enablement & Governance: Develop and deliver comprehensive training and support on new MarTech tools and process best practices. Manage the new-hire onboarding process and establish the IP (Intellectual Property) usage guidelines and 'dos and don'ts' playbook for the regional team in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Financial & Legal Oversight: Oversee and manage the operational aspects of the marketing budget, including tracking purchase orders, processing invoices, and maintaining vendor contracts to ensure financial compliance and legal adherence.
  • Stakeholder Management & Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between APAC Marketing, Global teams, and key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Engineering) to drive process improvements and ensure strategic alignment and efficient project execution.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related analytical field
  • 5-6+  years of progressive experience in Marketing Operations, Project Management, or a combined MOps/PM role, ideally within a high-growth technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose workflow issues and implement scalable, data-driven solutions
  • Expertise in advanced data analysis, reporting, and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to translate complex performance metrics into actionable business insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to organize, structure, and articulate complex information to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to take proactive ownership of problems and processes, driving continuous improvement without constant oversight
  • Expert ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume portfolio of simultaneous projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery of each
  • Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to data accuracy and hygiene across the marketing technology stack
  • Deep understanding of the digital marketing funnel, channel performance, and core marketing metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, Conversion Rates)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment, effectively managing pressure and rapid organizational change
  • Experience with Marketing/Field Operations and/or formal Project Management methodologies (e.g., Asana, Jira) in the technology or gaming industry is a significant advantage
  • Experience with field marketing operations/PM, particularly in the tech industry, is a Plus
  • Familiarity and genuine interest in the company's Intellectual Property (IP) and brand standards is a plus

At Scopely, we create games for everyone, and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!   We are committed to creating a diverse, supportive work environment where everyone is treated with respect. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us & embrace the adventure!
