The Assistant Accountant plays a key role in supporting Sandbox VR’s day-to-day finance operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and organized accounting processes. This position works closely with the finance team to manage expenses, invoices, reconciliations, and reporting activities that help maintain our financial accuracy as we continue to grow globally. It’s a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:Manage daily accounting operations, including staff expense claims, invoice review, payment processing, and document filingPerform accurate data entry and provide ongoing accounting support to ensure timely and reliable financial recordsHandle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoice preparationPerform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash recordsSupport month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines and standards are metAssist the finance team with ad hoc tasks and operational needs as requiredWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 2 years as an Assistant Accountant or similar accounting roleHKDSE or above, with LCCI Higher qualification preferredStrong written and spoken English and ChineseProficiency with MS Office and accounting softwareSolid understanding of accounting concepts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independentlyWell-organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and able to work effectively within a team
